Storytelling and listening have proven clinical value, and are keys to whole person care, which addresses emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial comfort, as well as medical needs of the people we serve.

In the early days of Covid when hospitals were running short on personal protection equipment, Kimberly, a quality improvement specialist, knew she needed to tap into her skills as a crafter. She gathered supplies and set up an assembly line in a conference room and made masks and face shields for her hospital.
