Dewitt participates in the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly or PACE. He talks with his social worker, Theresa, about the turning points of his life including growing up in Shreveport, Louisiana in the 1950s and 60s. He wanted to attend Louisiana State University. Because he was Black, he wasn't allowed to attend college in the South in 1961. He had an aunt in Seattle, so he moved there and attend Olympic College.
