Lester Brown was a notorious criminal in Detroit and was doing a 240-year prison sentence when he met a performance-improvement expert from the Pacific Institute. Lester, who has Alzheimer’s, and wife Carolyn Scott Brown recount how the encounter turned his life around. Lester learned to read, earned a college degree and instructed fellow inmates.
