Paying it forward

Patrick, a director of nursing for Providence, reflects on growing up in an economically challenged household surrounded by addiction on the outskirts of Philadelphia. He realizes if it weren’t for a few people in his life who saw the potential in him even before he could, he might have been destined to the same bleak future.
