Tony Adkins, PA-C secures funds for over 60 iPads and Amazon Kindle Fire tablets for our patients

Tony Adkins, PA-C, a Pediatric Neurosurgery Physician Assistant at CHOC, is well known for his dance moves and has a strong social media following. Tony has been working behind the scenes to secure donations for over 60 iPads and Amazon Kindle Fire tablets for patients hospitalized in units that are not allowing visitors. Tony believes that personal connections are important in the healing process and wants to create visual opportunities for patients to stay connected with their families and friends.

Hugh Mckee, the Senior End User Support Administrator Lead for the IT department, and his team have been instrumental in programing the devices and ordering protective cases so that the tablets can be properly sanitized after each patient use. St. Joseph Hospital is grateful for this incredible donation.
