The Laboratory in every hospital is an important member of the army combatting the COVID virus. To identify a patient as "Positive" or "Negative" quickly is key to treating and moving patients as well as possibly conserving valuable PPE. At Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, we recently received equipment to perform COVID testing in-house. In these pictures, Ramilee "Pinky" Vitug reminds us that "We Can Do It!" in this battle. And Pinky and Eric Lozares are shown gowned up and testing. The last picture is dedicated to our Laboratory phlebotomist who don their PPE and join many others in the Red Zone. I have great respect for our Laboratory and Ministry teams.
